Koenigsegg One:1 Development Car Could Be Yours For A Hefty $6 Million

After being listed for sale on a couple of occasions over the last 12 months, the first-ever #Koenigsegg One:1 is up for grabs once again.

Third time could be a charm for the Swedish exotic known as development car #00, which served as a basis for the six production units that were built.

Since we last reported on it, the megacar has covered 7,100 miles (11,426 km), but it still remains in pristine condition and it will be delivered with "an extensive factory refresh", as SuperVettura states.

This is the actual One:1 that was on display at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, and it was also used by Christian von Koenigsegg and his team as a test bed for developing ground-breaking technology such as the Active Chassis, Active Aero, Variable Turbo Geometry, 3D-printed titanium parts and turbo housing.

It still remains the fastest production car ever to lap Suzuka and Spa Francorchamps, thanks to its ballistic 1,360 HP and 1,371 Nm (1,011 lb-ft) of torque, developed at 6,000 rpm. The One:1 is capable of sprinting from 0 to 400 km/h (249 mph) in approximately 20 seconds and flat-out, it will do 450 km/h (280 mph).

The asking price is a cool $6 million, which might explain why it's still in search of an owner, but considering its rich history and the fact that there are only six other slike it in the world, it could appreciate some time in the future.
