From the first moment, anyone who will sits in the BMW Acitive Tourer, remains speechless! We could say that this from BMW is just an effort to concept design, precision craftsmanship and quality materials make up for it two rounds of "fore" given not only competition but also certain fraternal models.
Elevated body, tailgate, large glass areas and aggressively-bulky overall impression is not something that goes in favor of a better assessment.From first glance, it is clear that, in front of us is a car that is really usable as a family car which today offers every car maker and now and BMW. Sounds interesting! Relatively short front door that opens wide enough to allow all passengers to enter easily. The seats are set high and all can be accommodated comfortably.
No complaints from passengers on the rear bench as far as comfort is in question, comfort level over passenger head is good.
The dashboard is clear and easy to view and navigate, and the whole interior is with nice ambient lighting. Six speed gearbox with manual transmission is with the best BMW manners, short and clear with good ratios.
When BMW is in question should not be doubt in motorization, although concerns about MVP, which have a diesel engine. New two liter turbo diesel has more power and lower fuel consumption and lower emissions of co2.Quiet, peaceful, with harmonious acceleration but harsh with all 150 horsepower when needed. Driving is easy and there is a feeling of total control over the vehicle. In moments of full throttle, does not feel quite true kick, a trait that is not really specific to BMW, but overall this is still an MVP.
