DIME Uses Racing Expertise To Create Limited Run, 745 HP AMG GTs

DIME Racing is a Southern California-based AMG racing team, and specialist that also supplies the automotive industry with engineered components, system and services; and their latest project is a testament of their competency.

Named the Racing GT, the model is a limited edition, fully certified, pumped-out, and street-legal AMG GT, that will be sold at select Mercedes AMG dealers throughout the U.S.

Production will be limited to 100 units per year, and each model will feature a DIME racing designed and engineered suspension, new aerodynamics, and a new cooling package to keep up with the modified 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 that now outputs 745 hp.

To top it off, all the performance mods were created to also offer a capable track experience – since DIME’s expertise comes from its involvement in various racing series, including Pirelli World Challenge.

With a starting MSPR of about $150,200 (approximately $38,000 over the bog-standard GT) the vehicles carry a bumper-to-bumper warranty and each one comes with its own personalized Växjö watch.
