Alfa Romeo Stelvio Follows The Pickup Trend

#Mercedes-Benz has a pickup, #BMW is "watching" the segment closely, and #Audi could benefit from #VW's expertise in the field, so why not imagine how an #AlfaRomeo would look like as a workhorse?

The 'donor' vehicle in this case was obviously the Stelvio, the brand's first-ever SUV, and X-Tomi is behind this rendering that takes the Italian crossover and rearranges its entire rear end.

Emphasizing its premium flavor is a slightly lowered roofline, and, since the QV has made quite an impression in LA, where it was officially unveiled, it also maintains its specific wheels, red brake calipers, special badging and, of course, the potent 2.9-liter, twin-turbo V6 engine under the hood, taken straight from the most potent Giulia, where it was developed using Ferrari's know-how.

In this form, the new SUV it needs just 3.9 seconds to cover the naught to 60 mph (96 km/h) sprint and tops out at 177 mph (284 km/h), helped by the 505 HP and 443 pound-feet (600 Nm) of torque that are pushed to the AWD system through an 8-speed gearbox.
