Does The Porsche 911 Work With Mission-E Inspired Styling?

In all likelihood, future generations of the Porsche 911 will retain the same overall design that has made the vehicle an icon over the past five decades.

But if, for some reason, the German brand decided to revolutionize the 911, it could draw on the design of the Mission-E Concept for inspiration, as these images show.

Created by Behance artist Sasha Selipanov, this look at a futuristic 911 may be far-fetched, but it certainly has some appealing elements.

The most obvious styling cue from the Mission-E are the headlights which, rather than a single unit, are each made up of four small lights brought together in a square shape. Additionally, Selipanov's 911 doesn't have a front grille and instead making do with just two large air intakes.

The changes continue at the sides where the sports car's roofline has been totally revised and now incorporates an attractive double bubble design. The rear meanwhile adopts a pair of narrow, LED taillights, dual central-exiting exhausts and a flowing and curvy bumper.

A 911 that looks like this may never become a reality but there is a chance the Mission-E could influence future generations in more subtle ways.
