G-Power's 600 PS BMW M4 Coupe Is Faster, More Powerful Than The M4 GTS

Owners of the #BMW M4 Coupe who might be sighing after the GTS need not fret, as a set of aftermarket offerings are said to make it even more competitive than its hardcore sibling.

G-Power, for one, is offering its Bi-Tronik 2 V3 electronic control unit remap that is specifically calibrated to each car's engine to ensure optimum performance and is joined by a bespoke titanium exhaust.

What this amounts to is 600 PS (592 HP) and 740 Nm (546 lb-ft) of torque, 150 PS (148 HP) over the M4 Coupe fitted with the factory Competition Package. The tuned M4 needs 3.7 seconds to cover the 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) sprint, beating the GTS by a tenth of a second, while the removal of the electronic limiter raises the top speed to more than 320 km/h (199 mph).

If this sounds kind of extreme, the tuner provides two additional engine upgrades, which bring the output to either 520 PS (513 HP) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) or 560 PS (552 HP) and 720 Nm (531 lb-ft) of torque.

Making sure that the M4 can handle the extra power is the GM4-RS coilover suspension, which is said to not only provide a lower stance, but optimize tire grip too, while the Hurricane RR forged wheels, 9.0x21- and 10.5x210-inch, wrapped in 255/30 and 295/25 tires, respectively, round off the list of modifications.

Right now, G-Power charges €1,785 ($1,895) for the Bi-Tronik 2 engine upgrade, which is also available for the M4 Convertible and M3 Sedan, instead of the usual €2,100 ($2,230), as part of the 'X-Mas' Edition.
