Secure storage is the USP of Chevrolet's new High Desert upgrade for the Silverado LT, LTZ, and High Country full-size pick-ups.
A lockable and water-resistant cargo system provides much improved usability and practicality. It comprises a three-piece hard tonneau cover, an internal full-width cargo divider and a couple of side compartments.
Furthermore, Magnetic Ride Control suspension can be ordered on High Country variants for the first time. Better body control is promised by this system, which continuously monitors the road surface and varies damping rates accordingly.
High Desert-equipped Silverado deliveries are due to begin in the autumn.
