Take A Look At The 2017 Subaru BRZ With New Image Gallery

The 2017 #Subaru BRZ follows hot on the heels of the updated Toyota 86, which came to North America to replace the FR-S after the demise of the Scion brand.

Announced earlier this year, Subaru's two-door coupe sets itself apart (or at least, tries to) from the previous model year with a handful of mild tweaks including, a modded front bumper, LED lighting units on both ends with a different design on the front, standard daytime running lights on all grades, and a new set of 17-inch wheels.

Inside, unless you're a fan, most changes will fly under the radar, being limited to a redesigned steering wheel and updated HVAC controls, while the car's name is embroidered on the front headrests. As a final touch, the Japanese brand added a 4.2-inch screen (make that a 6.2-inch one on the Premium grade) to the right of the tachometer.

A 5 horsepower and 5 lb-ft (7 Nm) output boost is nothing to shout home about, but a few extra horses in the stable are still better than none. Finally, Subaru tweaked the suspension, while offering a new optional Performance Package boasting the same chassis upgrades as the range-topping GT in Japan.
