2017 Chrysler Pacifica Now Available In Canada, Starts At CAD $56,495

Built in Canada at the Windsor facility, the 2017 #Chrysler Pacifica is now available for order locally.

Carrying a price tag of CAD $56,495 (USD $41,666), without destination or 'Green-initiative' incentives, the minivan is available in a single grade - Platinum, but thanks to its ability to carry up to seven people, and its 16-kWh battery pack, it qualifies for the maximum CAD $14,000 (USD $10,325), offered under the Ontario Electric Vehicle Incentive Program.

This means that Ontario customers can have the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica from CAD $42,495 (USD $31,340), a bit more expensive over the same car's starting price south of the Canadian border - USD $29,590 (CAD $40,121), with destination. Buy the hybrid MPV in Quebec and British Columbia, and you will have to pay at least CAD $48,495 (USD $35,765) and CAD $48,245 (USD $35,581), respectively.

Standard features include the Uconnect Theater with 10-inch seatback touchscreens, three-zone automatic climate control, Alpine premium sound system, park assist, 360-degre camera view, heated and ventilated front seats, heated steering wheel, hands-free power sliding doors and liftgate, and others. In fact, the only option is the tri-pane panoramic sunroof.

As far as safety is concerned, the Pacifica comes with blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-path detection, forward collision warning with active braking, advanced brake assist, automatic high-beam headlight control, rain-sensing windshield wipers, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, lane departure warning, and lane keep assist.
